the challenge

Shoestories is a Dutch-based retailer specialising in bridal and special occasion shoes, serving customers across multiple online channels and physical outlets. As the business expanded, it became increasingly difficult to manage integrations between ecommerce platforms, ERP, point-of-sale systems, and logistics partners. Manual interventions were slowing down order fulfilment, stock management was error-prone, and system visibility was limited. Shoestories needed a future-ready integration approach that would unify its multi-channel operations and provide reliable, real-time data flows.

sinsou’s approach

Led by Jesse Buitenhuis, sinsou delivered an iPaaS-driven integration framework designed for retail scalability. We connected Shoestories’ ecommerce platform with ERP and point-of-sale systems, while also integrating logistics partners into the same data ecosystem. By building an API-first layer and implementing monitoring tools, we removed bottlenecks, reduced manual handling, and provided Shoestories with complete oversight of its operations.

sinsou (formerly Inteqrate) helps us to set up (and optimise) multiple integrations via the Alumio Platform. In addition to implementation, they also trained us so that we can now do this (partly) ourselves. We find sinsou to be a very flexible, hands-on organisation with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in integrations and the Alumio platform. They really stand out in terms of the speed with which they deliver, respond, and their pleasant, direct contact.
