scaling ecommerce operations with a unified integration framework

verfwinkel

Verfwinkel, one of the largest online paint retailers in the Netherlands, was struggling with fragmented ecommerce, ERP, and supplier integrations. Sinsou introduced a scalable iPaaS-driven architecture that automated key workflows, accelerated fulfilment, and provided real-time visibility across the supply chain.

the challenge

Verfwinkel is one of the largest online paint retailers in the Netherlands, serving both private consumers and professional contractors. As order volumes grew, the company struggled with fragmented integrations between its ecommerce platform, ERP, and supplier systems. Manual processes were causing delays in order fulfilment, stock updates, and supplier communication. Verfwinkel needed a solution that could unify these integrations, reduce operational strain, and provide real-time visibility across the supply chain.

sinsou’s approach

Led by Jesse Buitenhuis, sinsou approached the project with an iPaaS-driven architecture. Rather than fixing individual bottlenecks, we introduced a central integration layer to connect Verfwinkel’s ecommerce platform with ERP and supplier systems. This design enabled automated order processing, stock synchronisation, and streamlined supplier communication. We also implemented monitoring tools that allowed Verfwinkel’s internal teams to troubleshoot and control data flows without external dependencies.

sinsou (formerly Inteqrate) helps us to set up (and optimise) multiple integrations via the Alumio Platform. In addition to implementation, they also trained us so that we can now do this (partly) ourselves. We find sinsou to be a very flexible, hands-on organisation with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in integrations and the Alumio platform. They really stand out in terms of the speed with which they deliver, respond, and their pleasant, direct contact.
